You will work in a small team developing and maintaining several products. The first milestone would be the hyper care period (period after GoLive) of a medium sized web application in Python and Typescript. You will work with a senior colleague in this period, after which you will have complete control over the technology stack, with guidance when needed. After the hyper care period is finished, you will have the opportunity to work on different projects using either Python, Go or both as backend and Typescript as frontend based on your preferences for career development.  

  
The impact You will create:

• Pro-active problem solving 
• Ownership of each step of the software development lifecycle 
• Write clean, efficient and maintainable code following the company’s best practices  
• Implement new features based on business requirements 
• Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability 
• Work and collaborate closely with the product owner, team members and other engineering teams 
• Write and maintain documentation for the architectural system design 
• Stay up to date and implement relevant technologies  

Experience and skills You will need:

• Knowledge of the REST architecture 
• Good understanding of Web-development system design 
• Experience with Python for web development (course work or personal projects are also acceptable) 
• Understanding of Typescript and Vue.js 
• Knowledge of modern system design patterns in web applications and some experience applying them 
• Strong communication and teamwork skills within cross-functional international teams 
• Openness for innovative technologies 

 
Nice-to-Have 

• Some experience in software development in a productive enterprise environment 

• Python Frameworks: tkinter, FastAPI, Alembic, SQLAlchemy 

• Experience in developing and maintaining APIs based on Open API Specifications (course work or personal projects are also acceptable) 

• Willingness to learn OR previous experience with Go
