The impact you will create:

  • Build new applications using Object-Oriented ABAP, and maintain existing solutions within one of the largest SAP system landscapes in Europe.
  • Support our business consulting team with technical challenges by designing appropriate and scalable software solution architectures.
  • Analyze business requirements alongside internal and international colleagues to coordinate tasks and seamlessly integrate new developments.
  • Work closely with process experts in an Agile environment to engineer sophisticated, complex solutions using the latest SAP technologies.
  • Conduct thorough developer tests and code reviews to maintain clean code, high quality, and strict technical standards.
  • Continuously expand your own expertise - both independently and by learning from your peers - while sharing your knowledge with the team.

 

Experience and Skills You will Need:

  • A degree in Computer Science (or an equivalent field) combined with proven professional experience as a software engineer.
  • Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming in ABAP.
  • Understanding of SOLID principles, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Working with IDEs like ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse and VSCode.
  • Proven experience in designing and development of applications, alongside interface technologies such as OData, REST, IDoc and RFC.
  • Advanced analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills, plus a strong desire to work with the newest SAP technologies.
  • Hands-on experience working with BAdIs
  • Good functional and technical understanding of SAP EWM documents and processes, including EWM-specific ABAP objects and APIs.
  • Practical experience in the SAP EWM RF Framework (development and customizing), as well as knowledge or hands-on experience with the SAP Post Processing Framework (PPF).
  • Knowledge of Clean Code principles, Core Data Services (CDS), S/4HANA, BOPF, SAP Fiori Elements and experience in RAP or CAP programming models would be considered an advantage.
  • Both written and spoken English.
