We are seeking

• A highly knowledgeable and experienced Java Software Engineer to join our team. As a senior-level role, the ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. This position is open to candidates located in Bulgaria. As a Java Engineer you are responsible for the further development and operation of our server.schwarz platform. Server.schwarz includes several tools to manage our server infrastructure. The platform supports solution and product teams to automate the provisioning of their server infrastructure, to advance in their cloud journey. Besides the feature implementations you are also responsible for delivering the software product on time, quality and on budget, by following the company best practices and standardized guidelines.
  You are part of a highly motivated team which impacts the future of our internal platform, forming the foundation of many applications. With your ideas, input and outcome you support others to ease their infrastructure setup.You are responsible for the technical decisions, tooling, and best practices, having the focus on quality, performance and ensuring that business requirements are met.

The impact you will create:

• Close collaborate with Product Owner and infrastructure department colleagues.
• Develop high-quality code for technical solutions.
• Identify new software technologies that fit the specific needs and architectures of the projects involved.
• Lead the development and configuration of features from conception to implementation and deployment.
• Test, debug, and document the implementation of your features.

Experience and skills you will need:

• Advanced experience of backend development with Java.
• Advanced knowledge in the Spring Framework.
• Experience in designing and utilizing REST APIs and the use of relational databases.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to find solutions independently.
• A willingness to expand infrastructure knowledge beyond coding.

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge about networking, server infrastructure and Hypervisor like VMware / OpenStack.
• Frontend Development with TypeScript and Vue.js.
• Basic knowledge about Server operating systems like Linux and Windows.
• Knowledge about Business Logic orchestrators like Camunda (on the job learning possible).
