The Mission:

• You won't just be writing code; you’ll be designing the backbone of our internal API ecosystem.
• As a senior member of the MyAPI team, you will eliminate friction in API lifecycle management, automate enterprise governance, and optimize high-throughput integrations—ensuring a seamless road for hundreds of developers across the entire organization.

Experience and skills you will need:

• Go (Golang) Expertise: Deep, production-proven experience writing efficient, concurrent, and highly maintainable backend services. You know how to optimize Go code for performance and memory efficiency.
• API Gateways & Ecosystems: Hands-on experience architecting and managing API Gateways or reverse proxies (e.g., Envoy, Nginx, Apigee, Kong) and a mastery of OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Cloud-Native Infrastructure: Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and designing robust CI/CD workflows. You understand how backend applications interact with cluster infrastructure.
• API Architecture: Advanced knowledge of RESTful API design principles, architectural patterns, and managing breaking changes at scale.
• Data Persistence: Strong experience with Relational Databases (PostgreSQL), including schema design, query optimization, and connection pooling.

Bonus Points:

• Data & Observability: Experience setting up production monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
• DevSecOps: Knowledge of Static Code Analysis (SAST), dependency scanning, and artifact management (Nexus/Artifactory).
• Frontend: Familiarity with JS/TypeScript (Vue.js) to occasionally assist with our internal product UI.
