Position

As a Network Engineer, you will deploy the latest network solutions to meet the business requirements of one of the largest retailers in the world. We are looking for someone who is willing to grow, is up to new challenges, help colleagues around Europe and a true global team player.

Your next challenges are:

• On site collaboration with IT Teams from all over Europe to deploy new network solutions (LAN/WLAN/WAN), help them on migrations and to contribute to keep meeting their country network requirements.
• Work on a multi-vendor environment using some of the latest cloud based tools from the leading vendors.
• Develop high-quality standards and solutions suitable for many locations either at country Headquarter,  Warehouse or Store level. 
• Document new standards and solutions and train colleagues on them.
• Identify new network solutions that fit the specific needs and architectures of the company.
• Manage the network of the Schwarz IT Barcelona headquarter.

Your Education

Completed degree studies in (business) information technology or comparable qualifications.

Your Professional Experience

• 4+ years of experience on the management of LAN/WLAN/WAN network environments.
• Troubleshooting experience.
• Experience in large network set ups.
• Knowledge in ITIL is a plus.

Nice to have

• Cisco CCNP (Routing and Switching)
• Huawei HCIP (Routing and Switching)
• Fortinet NSE 4-5
• Basic knowledge on Python
• Ansible
• ITIL
