To realize this vision, we are looking for STACKITeers (m/f/d) who contribute their innovative ideas and go-getter mindset to tackling future challenges.

What You'll Do

• You will be part of our Argus product team where you develop the deployment logic for our observability service
• You will develop APIs through which our customers control the service lifecycle
• You will integrate your service into the rest of the STACKIT system landscape
• As a developer, you will be part of our SCRUM team, which consists of you, product owners, application experts, cloud engineers and other developers
• Together with the product team, you take responsibility for the services provided (YBIYRI)
• You will conduct problem and fault analyses and identify sustainable solutions
• You will automate and optimize all technical process sequences on an ongoing basis

What You'll Need

• You will have a passion and enthusiasm for new technologies, such as topics related to software development, Kubernetes and cloud backends
• Your extensive knowledge of programming using Go will be impressive; any other programming language may be an advantage
• Ideally, you are already familiar with PaaS solutions, such as CloudFoundry or Heroku, and know the principles of the 12 Factor App
• You will have knowledge regarding Continuous Deployment or Test Driven Development processes
• You will be happy to be part of an international team and speak good English

The product

Argus is a managed service that provides a powerful observability-toolset. 
It can observe targets which are serving data in OpenTelemetry (metrics, logs and traces) format. 
All telemetry data can be visualized with different chart types in a customizable dashboard.

The service is based on Open-Source tools that have established themselves as the de facto standard in observability. 
It includes:

Grafana for visualisation
Prometheus for collecting metrics data
Thanos for longterm storage of metrics
Grafana Loki for logging data
Grafana Tempo for tracing data
Prometheus Alertmanager for threshold based alerting

With an own developed Argus API and Service Dashboard, we provide possibilities to configure the components.
