Your Tasks

We are the Innovation& design system team, and we're building a multi-brand, multi-platform design.
system that powers consistent, user-centered experiences across Lidl Plus and the wider Schwarz Group.
Our mission is to enable speed, scalability, and quality through reusable components, cross-functional collaboration, and a strong community of practice. We design for impact — reaching over 100 million users — and are redefining how loyalty and eCommerce come together in a single, unified app experience.
Create, improve and maintain, design system components to help other mobile engineers work.
Be responsible for the integration of those libraries in Lidl Plus app.
Provide binary compatibility between those libraries and the internal SDK’s that will consume it.
Manage release pipelines and uploads to Play Store and Huawei App gallery.
Build high-quality software spreading a culture of quality and cooperation throughout the company.

Your Profile

Deep experience in Kotlin/Java and Android Framework and Architecture.
Good understanding of architectural patterns and SOLID principles.
Knowledge of different project architectures like MVVM, MVP, etc
Experience about testing functionalities like screenshot testing.
Skill to develop release pipelines and use Fastlane – Integration to Play Store.
Experience using or implementing a Design System.
Knolegment about Jetpack Compose.
Experience optimizing builds.
Appreciated experiance with SDK.
Appreciated experience with iOS Applications, Swift and libraries like Tuist, Cocoapods, Carthage…
Appreciated propose clean solutions understanding other teams’ impact and responsibilities.

Passion for learning new tools, languages and frameworks.
Ability to be creative and innovation-minded, self-motivated and proactive.
Fast adaptation to changing requirements and strong problem-solving skills.
To work in a collaborative model, side by side with the business.
Fluency in English to work in a multi-cultural environment.
5+ years experience as Android Engineer.
3+ years of experience with Kotlin.
