Your Tasks:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to help them achieve their professional goals.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging learning, experimentation, and the adoption of new technologies or methodologies.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing honest feedback through Radical Candor and identifying development areas.
  • Own the goal-setting process, aligning business and people needs while holding individuals accountable for reaching objectives.
  • Identify, detect, and hire the right candidates for the team in collaboration with the Product Owner (PO).
  • Actively unblock the team, detect and solve internal conflicts, or escalate problems when necessary.
  • Monitor the mood and well-being of the team and individuals to maintain a high-performing,well-balanced squad.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects/products, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
  • Manage development methodology, velocity, and strategy to ensure a fast time-to-market.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact delivery or quality, making informed decisions to minimize potential issues.
  • Define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) such as velocity, code quality, and customer satisfaction to measure progress.
  • Assign tasks and resources effectively to optimize team performance and meet project deadlines.
  • Provide technical expertise and assistance in problem-solving, ensuring best practices are followed across the squad.
  • Drive technical discussions and make judgments on technical decisions, weighing engineer interests against business needs.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define the technical roadmap, identifying key milestones and requirements.
  • Work with cross-functional and platform teams to define technical solutions, tools, standards, and best practices.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the architectures (Backend, Frontend, Data) and technologies used within the squad.

Your Profile:

  • Strategic Vision: Ability to define technical vision, detect new opportunities, and understand how product changes impact the wider company.
  • Communication: Clear and understandable communication in English, adapted to stakeholders (team, business, and technical).
  • Agile Mindset: Proficiency in handling Agile liturgies, refinements, and retrospectives to focus on value increments.
  • Decision Making: Proactive ability to make balanced decisions based on business, costs, and technical factors without just saying "No".
  • Time Management: Effectively optimize time using tools like the Eisenhower Matrix for delegation and organized planning.
  • Product Mindset: Understanding business, designer, and support needs with a focus on time-to-market.
  • Programming & Infrastructure: Go, Kubernetes (K8s) & MongoDB
  • Identity Provider: Knowledge of flows, Integrations, Implementation & EntryID
  • General Technical Skills: Backend/Frontend/Data architectures, Cloud development, Infrastructure operations, QA Mindset.
