Your Tasks

• Help us build a fully automated, best-of-breed Kubernetes edge solution that runs in thousands of distributed locations.
• Depending on the needs, you will develop everything from small integration scripts up to full-blown Kubernetes operators and custom control planes to automate the deployment and operations of our platform.
• Together with your team, you will take over solution design, solution implementation, testing, documentation, and operation of the developed solution.
• In addition to the actual software development and the operation of the container infrastructure, you will provide consulting support in the selection of the right tools (toolchain) and the appropriate software architecture and help to build and operate them as needed.

Your Profil

• You have a degree in computer science or have completed training as an application developer with several years of professional experience.
• You are familiar with at least one object-oriented programming language and one scripting language and are able and motivated to acquire new skills if the job requires it. Knowledge in Golang and Python is an advantage.
• You love stateless architectures and are familiar with GitOps and infrastructure as code concepts. Continuous Delivery, e.g. using ArgoCD or FluxCD, is nothing new to you.
• You have experience with deploying modern applications on Kubernetes and running Kubernetes clusters. Ideally, you have had some experience with infrastructure deployment and operations tools from the K8s ecosystem such as ClusterAPI, Cilium, Talos or similar.
• You understand that DevOps doesn't fly without Dev, nor without Ops and ideally you bring understanding for IT infrastructure.
• You work meticulously and are still able to find pragmatic solutions in the short term.

Remote Work outside of Germany is not possible, a relocation is needed.
