What You’ll Do

• You are responsible for the design, development, testing and support of cloud applications with Go in the environment of our Kaufland app, Kaufland website or the advertising and media platform of the Schwarz Group.
• Together with the architects, you solve technical issues, e.g. through product evaluations or the implementation of proof of concepts
• You ensure the further development, optimization and quality of existing applications and architectures
• Together with your team, you ensure the continuous go-live of new software releases
• You guide junior developers professionally, show empathy and at the same time a high level of solution orientation
• You also actively contribute to the preparation and transfer of knowledge
• In your role, you actively demonstrate agile approaches such as Scrum and the transfer of knowledge

What You’ll Need

• Degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
• Several years of professional experience in software engineering
• Ideally experience in the development of e-commerce applications or enthusiasm for e-commerce
• Practical knowledge of Go and another programming language, SQL, document-based databases, version management with Git and interface technologies (REST API)
• Knowledge of microservice, container and cloud architectures & technologies desirable
• Fluency in English, knowledge of German is desirable but not a requirement
