What You’ll Do

• You will model and develop innovative computer vision prototypes, pilots and products in Python and C++, both independently and as part of a team
• You will use containerization and IoT technologies for creation and deployment
• You will not just work from your desk, but you will also be active on the shop floor and in the AI computer vision lab
• You will use creative approaches and our lab environment to generate and record the necessary training data for our computer vision products
• You will check whether your prototypes and pilots can be implemented, especially with regard to edge and cloud architecture, and you will ensure they are operational and suitable for roll out

What You’ll Need

• Excellent knowledge of the application and development of algorithms in the areas of machine learning, computer vision and signal processing (SLAM, tracking, classification, detection, segmentation and generation)
• Excellent understanding of current computer vision architecture models
• Extensive practical knowledge of object-oriented programming with Python and of the software development cycle (CI/CD, DevOps, MLOps, GitOps, testing)
• Practical experience with C/C++ and Python bindings is a plus
• Knowledge of container applications (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud technologies (Azure, Databricks)  
• Experience with methods for agile software development
• The ability to understand complex questions and scenarios, to analyze these in detail and to present the findings to a non-technical audience in a comprehensible manner
