Your tasks

We are looking for new colleagues who are keen to drive forward our digitalisation. This includes software solutions for the process optimisation of our PreZero services, as well as our products for Lidl and Kaufland: e.g. digital flyers, digital voucher services, merchandise management systems, new career portal.

Personal contact and dialogue at the Heilbronn site is an important element of our collaboration and a central focal point of our working environment. At the same time, we offer the advantages of flexible working methods and enable mobile working for up to five days per working week. We also take the opportunity to meet in person as a team twice a month. Our mindset: open doors, informal culture, respect, your ideas are always welcome.

• Take responsibility for the (further) development and implementation of the various Golang and PHP applications of our international online platforms and software solutions
• Contribute to the design of a modern and flexible overall architecture
• Ensuring high software quality and performance of the applications through testing and code reviews
• Evaluating new tools and technologies to improve our platforms and processes
• Creation of documentation for your software projects

Your profile

• Several years of experience as a software engineer, especially with Go / Golang and PHP
• Experience with API development and integration using RESTful or gRPC APIs, api-first development is a matter of course for you
• Experience with cloud technologies: containers, Kubernetes, cloud native development and "the twelve-factors" are no foreign words 
• Experienced with general web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, Reactjs, Vue.js, etc.)
• Unit testing, quality management and demand for "clean code"
• Very good written and spoken German (B2) and English skills
• Successfully completed studies in the field of software development or a comparable qualification (e.g. vocational training with relevant professional experience in software development)
