The impact you will create

• As a Product Owner (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the agile software development and adding new feature to the platform: requirements Engineering and User Story writing and backlog creation and maintenance in a cross-functional team, you form the interface between business and engineers
• You maintain an overview of the existing process and system landscape, analyze, and evaluate business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Working closely with the business, you will be responsible for planning and implementing new, innovative IT solutions, incorporating new technologies and digital trends
• You will be responsible for planning and estimation of the activities together with the engineers
• You will be responsible for the interfacing of the platforms with other systems and data mapping
• You will be responsible for communication and alignment with other streams
• You will be responsible to driving the development team and delivering at the end

Experience and skills you will need

• Successfully completed degree studies in business informatics or computer science
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT software development
• Basic technical understanding of software architectures and common interface technologies
• Knowledge of SAP Master Data and master data in general (for example Assortment List (Article and Price Data), organizational Data, Bonus Buy, Personalised promotions
• Understanding of master data concepts (retail master data would be a plus)
• Knowledge of Cloud Fundaments and how to extract cloud costs and improve them
• Basic knowledge of project management
• Drive and initiative; Excellent analytical and conceptual skills coupled with an independent methodical approach to work
• High customer orientation, strong communication skills
• Creativity, desire for responsibility and hands-on mentality
• Capacity to lead the topics, plan the activity
• Should have interpersonal and Inter-cultural skills, initiative and drive
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English, German language skills would be a plus
