As a result, it is responsible for the selection, provision, operation and continuing development of IT infrastructure, IT platforms and business applications. In order to provide IT solutions that optimally support the departments’ business processes, Schwarz IT addresses the departments’ requirements in consultations and works with them to develop professional and effective IT solutions.
 
You have the chance to get to know the work in an innovative computer vision team. You will be part of a motivated and international team within Schwarz IT that develops computer vision solutions from prototype and pilot to operationalized product.
I am Darius and I am responsible for the Computer Vision department and I am looking for you as a motivated and eager-to-learn intern to support my team. Schwarz IT is the central IT service provider for the selection, provision, operation and further development of IT solutions for Schwarz Group companies such as LIDL, Kaufland, PreZero and Schwarz Produktion. 

Your tasks

  • You will accompany and support computer vision and software developers in their daily work and take on independent tasks in the project team

  • You will gain insights into modern machine learning methods and accompany their development in the life cycle from proof of concept to the operationalized computer vision product

Your profile

  • You want to expand your practical knowledge in the field of computer vision
  • You are interested in AI technologies and already have knowledge of data science and machine learning
  • You already have practical experience in the use of Python, C++ or Rust
  • You have knowledge of Git, Microsoft Azure, ArgoCD, Docker and Kubernetes technologies or are willing to acquire them
  • You have analytical skills and a high degree of self-initiative
  • You can communicate well in English (C1) and ideally also speak German (B1)
