As a dedicated STACKITEER, you are part of the STACKIT Products division. This is where our products and services are developed, tested and improved.

With the STACKIT Core Platform, we provide backend services that enable easy access to our services for our customers and allow internal stakeholders to publish their APIs without complications. We cover the entire spectrum of API development, security, and management, and provide specialized API integration solutions such as Rate Limiting, Service Enablement, and API Management.

Your Responsibilities

  • You review code contributions and architectural proposals from your colleagues to ensure the quality and future viability of our solution
  • You implement secure, thoroughly tested code and maintain our existing software stack
  • You design and improve our software architecture with regard to availability, resilience, scalability, and performance
  • You automate operational tasks wherever possible and ensure our software can scale efficiently to meet growing demands

Your Profile

  • You are proficient in professional software development methodologies – from development standards to build and release management
  • You have been significantly involved in the development of complex software systems and bring profound experience in this area
  • You possess knowledge in backend development, ideally with languages like Go, Java, or Kotlin
  • You are confident in working with interfaces such as REST and gRPC
  • You enjoy sharing your knowledge with other developers and growing together as a team
