The impact you will create:

Maintain the Shield: You will be the first line of defense, responsible for the daily health of our backup environments. You will ensure that all targets are strictly followed without compromise.
Own the Lifecycle: You will assist in installing, configuring, and administering enterprise environments, including software upgrades and hardware replacements for Cohesity NetBackup, Dell DataDomain, and Quantum DXi.
Automate the Routine: We don't want you to just "do" the job manually forever. We want you to identify repetitive tasks and script them (Python, or Bash). Your goal is to automate the mundane so the team can focus on complex architectural challenges.
Collaborate & Consult: You will work closely with Storage, OS, Database, and Network teams to ensure seamless integration and 100% data integrity.

Experience and skills you will need:

You are someone who doesn't leave a failed job until the root cause is found. You have the patience for deep troubleshooting.
Systematic Approach: You value logical problem-solving over "quick fixes".

Technical Foundation:

Basic hands-on experience or a strong theoretical understanding of Enterprise Backup & Recovery.
Proven interest or basic experience in scripting (Bash, Python), automation engines like Ansible, APIs.
Network: Understanding of VLANs, Subnets, and NIC Bonding.
OS: RHEL, Windows
