SECURITY PLATFORM OPERATIONS (m/f/d)

The impact you will create:

Operational Management & Execution: You perform the hands-on operational execution, configuration adjustments, and routine maintenance of these platforms. This includes managing the smooth data flow and integration between SAP applications and security monitoring solutions such as Splunk and Security Bridge.
Platform Stability & Quality: You contribute to ensuring the stability and performance of the SAP security monitoring infrastructure with both their central and decentralized components (agents) for one of the largest SAP landscapes in Europe.
Sustainability and Automation: You do not only chase symptoms but find ways to prevent issues from occurring whenever possible, find solutions to resolve issues sustainably and seek for ways to automate recurring platform operation tasks
Technical Coordination: You work closely with other Cyber Security and SAP Infrastructure teams on technical operational alignment, coordinate minor maintenance activities with external service providers, and document configuration changes.

Experience and skills you will need:

Education & Communication: You have successfully completed a relevant IT-focused education (apprenticeship, vocational training, or Bachelor's degree). You can articulate technical operational status and issues clearly to technical teams.
Experience in Operations: You possess initial professional experience (1-3 years) experience in the operation of software platforms, ideally within the area of SAP.
Technical Know-how: Since a significant part of this position will require working within SAP systems, SAP Basis knowledge is highly advantageous. Additionally, you are skilled in concepts to automate recurring and repetitive tasks by using Python, Golang or other suitable programming languages.
Teamwork & Execution: You are a motivated team player with a strong focus on execution and structured work. Experience with ITIL processes or operational ticketing systems is a plus
Languages: You are fluent in English (written and spoken). German is a plus.
