Project

  • We are in the process of providing a new vulnerability management platform and Python is our programming language of choice.
  • You will be able to participate in the different parts of the project such as architecture design and the development of a solution that processes millions of data entries daily.

What You'll Do

  • As a Data Engineer, you will contribute to bringing data analytics to production at scale in Schwarz group. Taking part in the design and implementation of the Vulnerability Management Platform or other related data products.
  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines (batch and real time) from different sources to insert high volumes of data in our data lake and make data available for our stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other data team members in Data management and Data platform to implement and improve our data solutions.
  • Data modelling: model our datasets to ease data consumption for our stakeholders.

What You'll Need

  • Practical experience building scalable software using advanced Python and SQL.
  • Familiarity building data processing pipelines (ELT) using tools such as Airbyte, Airflow, dbt or similar tools.
  • Database: relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, Redis), experience with graph oriented DBs (Neo4j) is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud data warehousing solutions (preferably Snowflake or Azure).
  • At minimum user level experience with Unix/Linux.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g: Docker, Kubernetes).
  • CI/CD Pipeline: Azure DevOps, Jira.
  • Monitoring and data visualization tools: Azure Monitoring, Grafana, PowerBI.
  • MS’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in software development.
  • 3+ years’ experience in Big Data Frameworks.
  • Experience in Agile methodology.
  • As a bonus, contribution to open-source projects.
