The impact you will create:
 

• Develop and maintain backend microservices serving one of the biggest software systems which operates in all Kaufland stores in Europe
• Regularly enchnance the overall software quality and implement good practices
• Creating clean, well-documented, maintainable code with high test coverage
• Supporting our agile development team in designing, creating and implementing ambitious software solutions for our internal systems in an agile way (Scrum/Kanban) 

Experience and skills you will need:

• Kotlin Mastery: 4+ years of professional experience, specifically utilizing Coroutines and reactive patterns.
• Angular & TypeScript: 4+ years of experience building complex SPAs (Single Page Applications) with high performance.
• Reactive Backend: Hands-on experience with Vert.x or Ktor for high-concurrency systems.
• Data & Messaging: Кnowledge of Couchbase (NoSQL) and Kafka for event-driven architectures.
• Cloud Native: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for container orchestration.
• Observability & Security: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, SonarQube, and Snyk.
• CI/CD: Practical experience with Azure DevOps pipelines.

Soft Skills & Leadership:

• Analytical Problem-Solving.
• Mentorship & Influence: A desire to share knowledge and level up the junior and mid-level developers through constructive code reviews and pair programming.
• Ownership & Accountability: You don’t just "write code"—you own the lifecycle of your features, from the first line of Kotlin to the deployment in Kubernetes.
• English Proficiency
• Technical Writing: Ability to document architectural decisions, API contracts, and system designs clearly for the rest of the engineering team.
