Project Overview

• You will be part of an agile infrastructure project which bundles network and security related topics on one platform. You will be involved within the different stages of the software development process to write and maintain meaningful code. By solving the diverse challenges, you can shape the essential infrastructure for the whole Schwarz Group. 

What You'll Do

• Write clean, efficient and maintainable code following best practices 
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability 
• Work and collaborate closely with the scrum engineering team, product owner and other team members 
• You are not afraid to learn new technologies and programming languages 

What You'll Need

• 2+ years of experience in software development in a productive enterprise environment 
• Deep knowledge in the development of Java (Spring Boot) and writing tests, including integrations tests 
• Understanding of modern design pattern and proven experience of applying them 
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining APIs based on Open API Specifications 
• Strong communication and teamwork skills within cross-functional international teams 
• Self-committed and quick familiarization with new innovative technologies   

What is Valuable

• Infrastructure Knowledge, explicitly in the context of network security or load balancing 
• First experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes 
• Database-Knowledge (MongoDB preferred) 
• Fundamental skills in Kotlin and Ktor
