Your Tasks

- Service Ownership: You are responsible for the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of our cloud services. You play a key role in creating and validating system designs and ensuring the operational performance of those services.
- Quality Assurance: You conduct code reviews to ensure the code meets our requirements for scalability, maintainability, and correctness.
- Advocacy: You champion your employees and support them so they can focus fully on their work.
- Culture: You promote and embody an open, blameless, bottom-up culture and act as a sparring partner for (Domain) Product Owners, Engineering Managers and Agile Coaches.
- Strategic Vision: You have a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, take responsibility for the technical vision of the product, and contribute significantly to the roadmap.
Your Profile
- Education: You hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: You have gained 5+ years of experience in the development and implementation of software products.
- Leadership: You possess 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership position (including project oversight) and have at least 2 years of experience in personnel management/disciplinary leadership.
- Mindset: You see yourself as a passionate Servant Leader, guiding people on their individual journeys and providing targeted support for their personal needs.
- Tech Stack: You have expert Kubernetes knowledge (CKAD, CKA, or equivalent), expertise in networking (Linux networking, routing, SDN, etc.), and experience in developing Operators.
- Bonus Skills: You have already gained experience with OpenStack.
- Soft Skills: You are a team player who feels at home in agile environments; you possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Languages: You are business fluent in English (German is a strong plus).
