The Impact You Will Create

You design, implement, and operate the data and cloud infrastructure for our central AI Anomaly Detection Engine

You build and scale data pipelines optimized for handling high-volume IoT time-series data, specifically focusing on energy metrics, power consumption data and monitoring infrastructure logs

You select and deploy the most appropriate, lean, and scalable cloud technologies to ensure smooth system performance.

You collaborate closely with our Data Scientists, acting as the engineering bridge to put their anomaly detection models successfully into cloud production.

You actively form, lead, and develop our new Core Engineering Team in Bucharest.

You define a clear technical vision and establish strong local ownership, guiding and mentoring future mid- and junior-level engineers as the team grows.
Experience And Skills You Will Need

You bring at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Data Engineering or CloudOps, with clear architectural responsibility.

You have extensive, practical experience in object-oriented programming (OOP) with Python to build clean and maintainable backend applications.

You are highly confident in designing data architectures optimized for processing large-scale time-series data (e.g., smart meter data, power consumption logs).

You have solid knowledge of cloud services and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes) to run lean, stable cloud systems.

You are motivated to work agilely, possess strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders, and have initial experience or a strong drive to lead and form a local technical team.
