• You develop a data and AI platform as a sovereign cloud service

• You extend the system architecture and identify relevant open source projects

• You develop REST APIs through which our customers control the service lifecycle

• You develop Kubernetes operators to automate the life cycle of cloud services

• You take responsibility in the agile product team: You Build It - You Run It

• You competently conduct in-depth root cause analyses and identify sustainable solutions that you implement directly

Experience and skills you will need

• You have a passion and enthusiasm for new technologies and can put them into practice

• Your focus is on software development, Kubernetes is your friend and you already feel at home in cloud environments

• You impress us with your sound knowledge of programming with Golang

• You are no stranger to products and services (e.g. Kafka, Spark, Flink or Dremio) and developing\implementing PaaS, SaaS cloud solutions from scratch

• Contribute to all aspects of software development, you will drive your product from idea to successful go-live.

• Manage the solution design and new implementations (configuration and development)

• Together with Product owners, you develop the product strategy and plan its technical implementation

• Drive and solve complex problems with creative solutions

• Responsible for the development stack and set the technical direction

• Moderate architecture reviews and ensure high software quality

• Develop best practices and establish them in the team. Provide input for refactoring and improving quality for existing code.

• Engage and work with all involved stakeholders internal and external (POs, dev teams, testing teams, operations, infrastructure, business)

• Support testing for existing and new solutions\implementations

• Identify risks and constraints and proactively mitigate them

• Support progress tracking for various stages of projects and adapt to difficult situations

• Communicate and engage vendors for new requirements or issues

• Coordinate development team members, assign tasks, delegate

• Support on monitoring team capacity and priorities

• You enjoy sharing your knowledge with other team members
